This is not un-common amongst engines having spent their lives on very average quality non-synthetic engine oil. There has been a significant improvement using Amsoil. The Rx8 timing cover shown right has been acid dipped to remove all impurities. I am confident that Amsoil does not deposit sludge and varnish inside the engine.
On the contrary, Amsoil will hold contaminants and particles in the oil until it passes through the engine oil filter, ensuring maximum removal of wear producing particles and contamination. Most fully synthetic oils are not compatible with Mazda Rx8 Engines.
My Recommendation; use the best quality Rx8 compatible oil you have access to. Satisfied customers are the focus of my business. I am committed to; actively listening to customers to clearly identify and understand their individual needs and expectations providing customers with high quality, innovative, value for money products and services. Continuous improvement. I am committed to; excellence and innovation in search of superior products and services for my customers. I am committed to; building a long term, mutually rewarding relationship with customers and suppliers, based upon trust and honesty in everything I do never compromising integrity and quality being environmentally responsible in the use of energy resources and disposal of wastes.

With all that in mind we have gathered a few different engine oils below that should be perfect for your Mazda RX While this is a synthetic oil many owners recommend it and Mazda Japan usually uses Castrol in their cars there is some talk that Mazda oil is also just Castrol.
This engine oil will be perfect for those in slightly hotter environments. Check it out here. The second oil we are going to recommend is the same as above but in 5W form. This will be great for cooler environments or during the winter. Find out more here.
Mazda recommends changing the engine oil every 12, km 7, miles for normal use and 8, km 5, miles for heavy use. However, many RX-8 owners recommend that you do it much earlier at around 5, km 3, miles or every 6 months.
